This scholarship, honoring long-time AOSA member and former supervisor of MCS/SCS, Wincle Sterling, supports a dedicated MC-AOSA member who wishes to attend the National AOSA conference.  Scholarship recipients will demonstrate commitment to the profession, active engagement in the organization, and a clear plan for applying their learning to benefit students and colleagues.

To be considered, applicants should:

• Be a current member in good standing with the chapter.

• Participate in volunteer services to the chapter.

• Have maintained membership for at least one year prior to application (can include membership to another chapter if the applicant relocated to the Memphis area).

• Be currently employed in an educational setting or a student seeking a degree in music education (level 1 participation only)

• Have participated in at least 2 workshops and/or the AOSA National Conference prior to the application deadline.
